How we work...

If you are unsure about how to proceed with your landscape design ideas, would like to speak with an expert regarding "how-to" guidance and need help deciding how to proceed, we offer a free phone consultation (about 30 min.) to help you decide how to best move forward.

Should you wish to review the possibilities, design elements and programming of your project in depth, but are not ready to sign a design contract, an on-site consultation is a great place to start. During the consultation we will:

Review your wish list
Analyze your property's constraints, character, potential, etc.
Discuss current site conditions
Review your investment range for your project and discuss the possibility of phasing your ultimate master-design
If needed, specify a local licensed landscape contractor, landscaper, contractor or other professional
Review MJMD Studio's body of work and our design philosophy.
Discuss our process and decide if MJMD Studio is a proper fit for you and your new project

Following our meeting, I will draft a design proposal that outlines all shared objectives, phasing, key deliverables and fee estimates. Upon acceptance of all terms and details, we will proceed to creating your custom master plan, starting with a preliminary concept development and finishing with your final concept plan.

Once your design is ready, MJMD Studio is here to help you through the subsequent phases of implementation and maintenance. We are dedicated to finding the ideal contractor and subcontractors to make your design come to life. In addition, we can recommend a maintenance professional to ensure your garden thrives.

Fees

An Initial phone consultation is FREE
Your On-Site Consultation with Design Proposal is $225 for 2hrs
Your Custom Master Plan starts at $1520 depending on your project specifications.
Assistance in implementation and maintenance is billed and documented carefully at a $100/hr minimum for the first hour and $80/hr each hour thereafter
